STEVNERAPPORT: Mjøssvøm 2017

Vestbyen has participated in this year’s “Mjøssvøm” also, which was held during the week 23. The competition took place in Hamar and was held from 09-11.June in Ankerskogen Svømmehall. It gathered 573 swimmers from 41 clubs from Norway and Poland.

Representing Vestbyen, our swimmers had amazing weekend behind, where they have set many personal best results again, while some of them get qualifications for both summer and winter Junior and Senior NM.

Vestbyen IL Svømming took a part in Mjøssvøm 2017 with 21 swimmers (9 girls & 12 boys) who have swam very well and have done good job all together.

The motivation and desire to reach their best times has resulted our mixed relay to get two silver medals.

That was a ‘wind on back’ for Margrethe Kvelstad, Einar Skoglund and Iver Ørbog to get gold medals in the finals they swam.

All other swimmers who represented the club have swam their races as best as they could, thus setting many personal best results.

Their coach Darijan Milojkovic was also very satisfied after the end of competition.
We congratulate to the entire team for achieved results!
